ELVIS Inspection or Uber Inspection

It is imperative that your vehicle is brought to us inspection ready. What do we mean by this?

-All areas of the vehicle are accessible. Excess cargo or debris may result in the inability to properly perform the inspection and the inconvenience of having to make a new appointment.

-Children's car seats should be removed from the vehicle prior to inspection. All seat belts must be tested and in working order. Car seats often block access to a seat belt. In this situation, the car seat will be removed but not re-installed.

-Wheel lock keys should be placed on passenger seat or in the cup holder for quick access. ELVIS Inspections require removal of your vehicles wheels. If the wheel lock key is not in the vehicle or the location of the wheel lock key is unknown, appointments may have to be re-booked or a forced removal of wheel locks performed. Should you choose forced removal it is important to note that the wheel locks will be destroyed in the process requiring replacement and additional charges will apply.

It is always best to plan ahead and not wait until last minute to have your ELVIS Inspection performed. This is especially important when it comes to a source of income. We suggest planning your inspection 1 month prior to your renewal date to allow for any necessary repairs.

We also recommend planning to drop off your vehicle. The inspection itself takes approximately 1-1.5 hours, however if any repairs are needed we can often accomplish them same day if the vehicle is left with us.

Unlike many inspections, the ELVIS Inspection requires that your vehicles interior be clean and tidy. The best course of action is to remove any personal items from the interior and vacuum and wipe surfaces prior to your inspection.

Upon successful completion of your inspection, you will be provided the necessary paperwork for your visit to the Livery office.
